FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Integrated pain relief is still a relatively new field, but one that is already backed by a great deal of scientific evidence. Here are some frequently asked questions that may help you know what to expect from your integrated treatments and how they work in your body.

Q: Your clinic is integrated, so that means you have more than one doctor. What else is offered?

A: We have other therapies available as well - some of these therapies include chiropractic therapy, physical therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, graston, and massage therapy.

Q: How long does it take to feel better?

A: This is highly dependent on the patient’s case, but in many instances, the patient's experience improves within days and some within hours.

Q: How can people who are interested in your services find you?

A: Along with our website, we can be reached on Facebook, Instagram, in-office, or by phone.

Q: What will my insurance cover?

A: Some of our services are completely covered by insurance (depending on your insurance) and others are not. Things like chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy, and acupuncture can be covered by insurance.

Q: What is holistic medicine?

A: It is a "whole body" approach to medicine that pays special attention to the interconnections of the mind and body and of the systems within the body. The aim is to find the cause behind the problem, instead of just fixing symptoms.

Q: What is the difference between Dry Needling and Acupuncture?

A: Though they both include inserting thin needles in specific areas on the body, Acupuncture is focused on the flow of energy throughout the body and most often used to treat internal issues like digestive problems, insomnia, and stress. Dry Needling is focused on the release of trigger points within muscles to treat cases of chronic and acute pain.
